Inquiring minds want to know!

Hello, One and All. . .

Do you have different definitions than the following and would like to share?

Podcasts and Vodcasts- what you listen to or watch either on the computer or iPod
iPods- the small transportable devices that we can use to watch the Podcasts
Learning Community- A small number of educators gathering as a community of
learners who continuously seek, share, and act on their learning in
order to improve their teaching practice for the benefit of all
students.
HRD's Adult Learning Community Rubric
Action Research-looking at what you are or should be doing, collecting and analyzing data using qualitative and/or quantitative research methods, monitoring, evaluating the action, and adjusting through an active community of professionals
Sagor, R. (1992). How to Conduct Collaborative Action Research. Alexandria, VA: ASCD.

I would love to hear your thoughts on the following:

1. Were iPods and Podcasting new to you?

2. Is being in a Learning Community new to you?

3. Is doing Action Research new to you?

4. How do you feel about your progression of using this new technology to enhance your job performance?

5. How has, or how the iPod and Podcasts enhanced or not enhanced your job performance?

6. What are some barriers to using, or learning to use, this technology. . . for yourself? . . . for the end user?

7. What are some benefits to using, or learning to use, this technology. . . for yourself? . . . for the end user?

8. How will you and how could you know if the end user has or hasn't benefitted from what you are trying to do with the Podcast?

9. Is there anything else you would like to add about how you are feeling about this process?

10. What is your research question and how are you collecting data?

Thank you for your time, support and input.
